So with school less than 24 hours away I had to keep myself busy instead of stressing, I decided to work on another DIY project. A few days ago me and my mom went to an antique store as we are moving and wanted to look at some cute decorations we could get and possibly renovate. Out front they were giving away these old church service books, the pages were filled with songs that would be sung at church and all I could think of were the hundreds of crafts the sheet music could be used for. And I finally chose the first craft they would be featured in.
Things you will need:
Things you will need:
- Paint brushes
- Canvas
- Hot glue gun
- Paint
- Sheet music (I like the vintage look)
- Heart template
Step One: Paint your canvas. Paint it what ever color you would like, I chose grey to make the music sheets pop.
Step Two: I began cutting hearts out of the sheet music using the template down below as a stencil.
Step Three: After I had the appropriate amount of hearts I took out one and painted it pink. I put a light coat on the one heart so you could still see the music notes.
Step Four: Using the hot glue gun I glued down all the hearts.
Viola! You have a wonderful little art piece to put up! I decided to put this piece on one of the desks downstairs I really like how it looked next to the coral lamp.
